The Symbolise button appears near the end of your mouse drag. It stays visible for 5 seconds before fading out. You can adjust this duration in the Settings menu.
Symboliser uses a tiered matching system: Direct word matches first, then root-word (lemmatisation) matches, and finally synonym matching to ensure every word gets visual support where possible.
Ensure you are dragging the mouse to select text. Note that keyboard-only selection (using Shift + Arrows) will not trigger the button. Also, check that Symboliser is active in your System Tray.
Verify your symbol library path in Settings. Symboliser supports Picom Classic, Mulberry, and Bliss libraries. Ensure the library files are correctly mapped on your drive.
Symboliser uses standard Windows SAPI voices. Go to Windows Settings > Time & Language > Speech to ensure you have a voice pack installed and selected.
